אני מצטערת שנטשתי אותך. כדי להראות לך כמה אני מצטערת, אני אראה לך את אחד הדפים המעוצבים שלי שאני הכי אוהבת כרגע.

אבל לפני כן, אני רק אבהיר לך משהו – במשפחה שלי, ימי הולדת, ימי נישואין ודברים כאלה אנחנו חוגגים לפי התאריך העברי. גם תכנונים של "מה אני רוצה להספיק החודש" וכו' אני מתכננת לפי הלוח העברי. שמתי לב שחודש סיון (שהתחיל ב-3 ביוני ונגמר ב-2 ביולי השנה) היה פשוט חודש נפלא בשבילי. אז הכנתי לכבודו דף מעוצב:

My Dear Blog,

I'm sorry for abandoning you. To show you how sorry I am, I'll share with you one of my new favorite scrapbook pages.

But before that, I need to make something clear – in my family, we celebrate birthdays, anniversaries and such according to the Hebrew calendar. I use the Hebrew calendar to make monthly to-do lists and goals too. Actually, I use the Hebrew calendar whenever I can. So, I've noticed that last month – Sivan ( June 3^rd – July 2^nd this year) – was a LOVELY month for me. So I scrapbooked it!

(3 דברים:

1.       עכשיו אני מרגישה סופר נבוכה בגלל התמונות שלי. אבל אני אתגבר.

2.       את התמונות האלה צילמתי סתם עם המצלמה של המחשב ומשום מה היא לא עשתה את הדבר הזה "איזון הלבן" שהיא הייתה אמורה לעשות והתמונות יצאו מאוד מוארות.

3.       המצלמה של המחשב שלי מוסרת שהיא מצטערת. :))

(3 things:

1.     Now I feel super embarrassed thanks to the photos. But I'll manage.)

2.     I took these photos with my webcam, and clearly, from some reason it didn't do that white adjustment thing it should have done.

3.     My webcam says it's sorry. :))

בתוך המעטפה יש רשימה ארוכה שמסכמת את החודש הזה – דברים כיפיים שעשיתי ודברים נפלאים שקרו. על המעטפה סיכמתי בקיצור שסיון תשע"א היה חודש נפלא והבאתי דוגמאות לכמה מהדברים הטובים שקרו בו.

In the envelope is a long list wrapping up this lovely month – fun things I did and wonderful things that happened. On the envelope I wrote that Sivan was a great month and gave a few examples of good things that happened in it.

It says: "So many times during this month I felt life is simply wonderful and that it's a wonderful time in my life. It's a wonderful feeling. ♥♥♥"

אני אוהבת שלפרח הזה אין גבעול. :) את הפרח גזרתי ביד ואת העלים גזרתי מטאפט.

I love this stemless flower. :) I cut the flower by hand, and the leaves were cut out from contact paper.

ולעניין שונה לגמרי : ביום שני בערב הייתה מסיבת האירוסין לאח שלי! היה כל כך, כל כך כיף. אח שלי השני היה הצלם ה'רשמי' אבל אני הבאתי את המצלמה הקטנה שלי וצילמתי תמונות גם. לפני שכולם הגיעו, נעמדנו שנינו לפני מראה וצילמנו את התמונה הזאת יחד:

And something completely non crafty (well, not completely, since I already scrapped this photo) :  Monday night was my brother's engagement party! It was SO MUCH FUN. We had a great time! My other brother was the 'official' photographer but I took my point-and-shoot camera along and snapped photos too. Before everyone arrived, we took this photo together in front of a mirror:
